Talia al Ghul is the daughter of Ra's al Ghul. This makes her a member of the League of Shadows. Ra's has determined that Batman is most worthy to father his heir, and Talia views Batman as her beloved. She serves as the secondary antagonist and one of the final bosses in Gotham Knights.
Profile[]
As the daughter of Ra's al Ghul, she was raised to be the League of Shadows' second-in-command, and has been fiercely loyal to their cause since childhood. Growing up within the League, she has come to see people as chess pieces to be manipulated, though there was a brief time when another path seemed possible.
Biography[]
Before Gotham Knights[]
Talia was trained by League of Shadows and became one of the deadliest assassins in the world. Over the time of her life, she would use the lazarus pit multiple times on herself. Some decades prior to her encounters with Batman and The Bat Family, Talia began forming a decade long plan to get control of The League of Shadows for herself, and to eliminate all of her enemies. Following Jason's death, at the hands of the Joker, Talia used it to bring Jason Todd back to life. He returned to Gotham in a plan to have revenge on Gotham, only for Batman to save him.
At one point in his life, Batman had a brief relationship with Talia. In recent years, Talia has grown resentful of her father for passing her over his replacement.
