Oswald Cobblepot, formerly known by his alias The Penguin, is a supervillain and crime lord in Gotham City and a long-time enemy of Batman and the Bat Family.

Biography[]
Before Gotham Knights[]
Oswald was teased in his childhood due to his short stature, obesity, and bird-like nose. These traits made him an outcast in his rich, debutante family. Their rejection drove him to become evil. After spending a significant amount of time in Blackgate Prison, where he learned of the Court of Owls. Penguin served his time in peace and became a "legitimate" business owner and developed a understanding and alliance with Batman, providing him information and turning over equipment that comes through The Iceberg Lounge to assist Batman in keeping Gotham safe. Unknown to Batman, Penguin was under constant surveillance from the Court of Owls.
